Sahibzada Farhan is back in the news, this time for unveiling a new bat sticker, which has got his controversial AK-47 celebration. The batter celebrated provocatively during the Super Four match against India in the Asia Cup 2025. The batter named the sticker Gunmode and said that he plans to use it in future games, signalling that he is not going to leave it despite getting a warning from the ICC.

Farhan scored a fifty against the arch-rivals in Dubai and mimicked firing with his bat like an AK-47. The gesture was not taken lightly by the Indian fans and the former players.

They slammed him, and the BCCI also complained about the opening batter. Meanwhile, Farhan batted well in the Asia Cup final, amassing 57 runs off 34 balls and adding 84 runs with Fakhar Zaman. However, Pakistan was dismissed for 146 runs and India completed the chase easily. Tilak Varma scored a match-winning fifty and secured a five-wicket victory, and retained the Asia Cup.

Farhan is getting appreciation in Pakistan for his antics against the Men in Blue. He was Pakistan’s best batter in the Continental Cup and was lauded by Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis.
