Nikhil Chaudhary has been delivering the goods for Hobart Hurricanes after having secured a life-changing Big Bash League contract. The 27-year-old, who played domestic cricket for Punjab in India, draws plenty of inspiration from Virat Kohli.

Representing the Hobart Hurricanes, Nikhil has slammed quick-fire 40 and 32 while picking up three wickets with his leg-spin, repaying the faith that the franchise has showed in him. The ongoing BBL season is the first competitive season since 2019 for the talented all-rounder, who stepped foot in Australia back in 2020.

Chaudhary had actually traveled to Brisbane for a holiday but the unprecedented global pandemic meant he was stuck in the country due to travel restrictions.
