Here are three well-known cricketers who have appeared in movies:

1. Harbhajan Singh

Former Indian off-spinner Harbhajan Singh had a cameo appearance in the famous Bollywood movie ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karogi’ in 2004, featuring Salman Khan and Akshay Kumar. He also featured in a movie based on cricket titled Victory, starring Harman Baweja in 2009.

Since then, Harbhajan has been seen in several movies such as Bhajji in Problem, Second Hand Husband, Friendship, Dikkiloona and many others.

2. Kapil Dev

Legendary Indian captain Kapil Dev has appeared in several films, mostly in cameo roles. One of his most memorable appearances was in the Hindi film Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), where he played himself.

He also made special appearances in movies entirely based on cricket, like Iqbal (2005) starring Shreyas Talpade, Chain Kulli ki Main Kulli and 83, based on India’s historic 1983 World Cup triumph.

3. Brett Lee

Former Australian fast bowler Brett Lee is known for his active involvement in the entertainment business, having released an album with legendary Indian singer Asha Bhosle. Lee also featured in the movie Victory, leaving fans swooning with his acting talent. He also played a lead role in the Indo-Australian romantic comedy UnIndian (2015).
