The 'Three-time batting champions' quiz

Ahead of the 2026 MLB trade deadline, Philadelphia Phillies All-Star Bryce Harper told reporters he wanted the team to be active adding both bats and arms this year.

The Phillies have obliged with at least one bat , trading for three-time batting champion and two-time Silver Slugger Luis Arraez from the San Francisco Giants

Arraez could be a good addition to a Philadelphia lineup that has the eighth-lowest batting average in MLB but also has the eighth-most home runs. If the season ended today, Arraez would finish with a batting average over .300 for the fifth time in his career and his fourth-career batting title. Adding his contact prowess should give the Phillies lineup more of a threat when their power bats aren’t connecting.

Which brings us to today’s quiz. Arraez is one of just three players to win the batting title in both the American and National League and one of 30 to win it in three seasons. How many of those 30 players can you name in five minutes?

Good luck!
