Virat Kohli reached Ranchi on Tuesday, making his much-anticipated entry into MS Dhoni’s hometown just days before the first ODI of the three-match series between India and South Africa begins on November 30 at the JSCA International Cricket Stadium.

His arrival immediately created excitement across the city, with fans gathering in large numbers to welcome him. Adding to the warm reception, Kohli also visited MS Dhoni’s residence soon after landing, where an enormous crowd had already assembled outside. Multiple police vehicles were deployed to manage security as supporters celebrated the strong and cherished bond between the two icons.

Kohli landed at the Birsa Munda Airport, where he was received by former India cricketer and current JKCA secretary Saurabh Tiwary. He escorted Kohli through the airport amid high security arrangements. The former India captain looked calm and cheerful, acknowledging the enthusiastic supporters waiting outside the terminal.
