Minhas had Green at the end of the 16th over and tossed it up on middle and leg and it spun wickedly away from the right-handed batsman. Green decided to stay on the backfoot and defend the ball but it was not to be as the ball spun far too much to beat the batsman entirely.

The ball went past the outside edge, ripped through Green's defense and smashed into the off-stump. The all-rounder was gone without scoring and became Minhas' third victim in the match.

This also came after he had leg-before Josh Inglis for 13 while also trapping Marnus Labuschagne LBW off the first ball he bowled in ODI cricket. Minhas had torn apart Australia's middle-order with all these dismissals coming in just one session of play.

Australia Struggle After Bright Start

At the time of writing, Australia were 87/4 after 18 overs, with Short keeping the innings ticking over on 42 not out off 51 balls, Renshaw was on 7 not out.

The first to fall was Carey who only made 19 before being caught off Abrar Ahmed. From then on Australia began to crumble after Inglis fell to Minhas at 62/2, Labuschagne followed soon after along with Green.

Minhas was on top with the ball taking 3/27 from 6 overs, Abrar Ahmed also took 1 wicket. Pakistan's bowlers really piled on the pressure.

The biggest moment in the Pakistani batting effort was the amazing delivery to Green, the sharp turn and accuracy of the delivery was a testament to why he is one of Pakistan's rising stars and was one of the most striking wickets taken in the match.
