Field Flanders Darts Trophy 2025: Luke Littler makes European Tour return, flanked by Humphries, Van Gerwen and Price
Kieran Cleeves/PDC

Luke Littler will be back on the European Tour at the end of August. The reigning world champion has signed up for the Flanders Darts Trophy, which will be played in Antwerp from August 29-31.

Littler played his last Euro Tour tournament at the German Darts Grand Prix in Munich in April, and was frequently whistled at and booed then, as he was earlier during the Premier League night in Berlin.

The 18-year-old teenage sensation was so outraged by this at the time that he posted on his Instagram that he will not report to the European Tour in Germany until October. In doing so, Littler had overlooked the fact that the World Cup of Darts also takes place in Germany, but on the Euro Tour circuit, for now, Littler seems to be keeping his word. Meanwhile, Littler has now missed five Euro Tours in a row.

However, the current world number two does have fond memories of Belgium. He won the Belgian Darts Open in both 2024 and 2025, although at last year's Flanders Darts Trophy he was surprisingly eliminated in the third round by Dirk van Duijvenbode.

In addition to Littler, the entire top-16 world rankings have registered for the Euro Tour tournament in Belgium. 'The Nuke' will face competition from Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price and Gary Anderson, among others.

Among those who will qualify for the ProTour include Martin Schindler, Josh Rock, Cameron Menzies, Michael Smith and Raymond van Barneveld among others.

For now, Mike de Decker is the only Belgian who is certain to play in front of his own crowd. Four more Belgians will join him anyway through the Host Nation Qualifier. This means no Kim Huybrechts, Dimitri van den Bergh yet as they have not qualified.
