Stephen Bunting celebrates title with traditional striking picture from hotel bed
PDC

Stephen Bunting enjoyed a memorable evening in Copenhagen by winning the Nordic Darts Masters. The 40-year-old thus selaed his second title at the World Series of Darts and decided to celebrate it in a special way. He took the trophy into his bed with him.

On social media, Bunting shared a striking photo, showing him lying in bed with his torso bared, but wearing his glasses, next to his trophy he won. "Good morning Copenhagen," he wrote on Twitter. "What a great feeling waking up along side this beauty."

Bunting was too strong for Rob Cross in the final. With an 8-4 victory, he continued his rise after a difficult Premier League start. Although Bunting failed to leave the last spot, he never lost his confidence.

"Look, you play against the best players in the world. Somehow it didn't work out for me. But I've always said: I don't lose my passion. I keep having confidence," said Bunting, who made his return to the Premier League this year after a 10-year absence.

"It had been a long time since I played in the Premier League, 10 years to be exact. It felt like I went to a new school this year. I'm proud of myself for what I showed. And I showed how good I can be, especially at the World Series."
