'Uninvited guests came to my house' - Madars Razma makes heartfelt plea asking 'keyboard warriors' to stop their abuse

Things have been difficult for Madars Razma so far in 2025, with the Latvian struggling to build up any momentum or consistency at the oche. Now, in a heartfelt plea, Razma had urged the 'keyboard warriors' to stop their abuse and given some insight into his struggles away from darts.

"I never thought that I would have to do this, but keyboard warriors keep commenting my performance & results in darts and it really kills," begins a post to Razma's official Facebook account. "I know there always will be some idiots, but I hope that after this, someone will stop doing it."

Fans are often urged to remember that the players they see on TV are people, with their own issues in their personal life away from the bright lights of the big stage. In Razma's case, that message seems especially prevalent.

"My dear fans, haters and journalists.. I know that in the last few months I have been far from the performance I can and I want to show. But I have my own reasons why I don't respond to your messages and decline all interviews," he explains. "So, just a few days before the start of the season uninvited guests came to my family's new house."

"If you want to know, then things are going much better now, but anyway, except a few local tournaments in Latvia, I have not practiced any single darts at home this year and it's just normal that week by week my performance and confidence is going down," Razma continues. "I know that there will be a World Series event in Denmark and World Cup of Darts in Germany very soon, but I don't think that anything will change in the near future. Therefore, I would like to ask all haters to understand my situation, be human and keep all criticism to yourself."

Finally though, Razma concludes his post with a message of optimism, hinting that all hope is not lost with the Latvian yet. "Thank you for your understanding and I know that one day I will be back to play quality darts again."
