February 2025 had some themes: X caused drama, Kendrick Lamar and Doechii proved superior, and the world said goodbye to a handful of icons from movies and TV. All of that and more as we explore the biggest things to happen in pop culture throughout the month!

Reactions from viewers were more than shocked because the 2025 Grammys were one of the best in recent years. "Girl Power" was alive and well as Chappell Roan took home Best New Artist, Doechii killed with performance and Best Rap Album win, and Beyonce finally won Album of the Year. Kendrick Lamar also dominated, inspiring haters everywhere as “Not Like Us” was dubbed Record and Song of the Year.

Two of the most iconic mothers in pop culture passed away in February 2025. The first being the late rapper Biggie Smalls’ mother, Voletta Wallace. The other starred in Pee-wee's Playhouse, as well as on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia as Charlie Kelly’s mom, Bonnie. Both women were 78.
