When both parents showcase musical abilities, it's more than likely their kids will do the same. At least, that's the case with the sisters of Haim. Their parents each had their own set of musical skills, so it surprised no one with the Los Angeles-based trio managed to make waves with their hit singles like "Want You Back" and "Now I'm In It."

With athletes, it’s definitely a toss-up between nature vs. nurture because it takes an incredible amount of strength and determination to be considered a GOAT in any sport. So while Venus and Serena Williams owe much of their success to the work they put in, their drive to be the best was something they likely inherited from their father and coach, Richard Williams.

Not one, not two, but three brothers pretty much owned the hearts of teeny boppers in the ‘90s, and their last name was Lawrence. The Lawrence brothers not only starred together in Brotherly Love but managed to make names for themselves in other quintessential ‘90s sitcoms, with Joey Lawrence coining one of the most repeated catchphrases of the decade on Blossom and Matthew Lawrence joining the cast of Boy Meets World during the college years. Of course, one can’t count out the youngest. Andrew went on to voice one of the leads in the animated series Recess and even had a recurring role on United States of Tara.

Kendra Beltran is a pop culture obsessed writer who spent her youth tirelessly jotting down ‘Total Request Live’ data after school. She took that obsession and a useless college degree, and spun it into enough to pay her rent by writing for MTV Geek, Collider, Popverse, and more. Over the years her interest in pop culture has only grown, and today she finds herself baking while streaming ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race,’ running (slowly) while listening to podcasts about the ‘90s, and hanging out with her dog while taking in emo playlists
