25 actors you forgot were on ‘The Office’

The Office  debuted in 2005, and since then, it has become one of the most watched (and rewatched) and beloved sitcoms of all time. Super fans of the series could likely tell anyone willing to listen to them talk about every plotline, detail, and random trivia about the show, like all the random actors that appeared throughout its nine-season run, or could they? Yes, it’s hard to forget when Idris Elba guest-starred and somehow hated John Krasinski’s Jim Halpert, or when Will Ferrell was a quick replacement for Steve Carell. Oh, and who could forget when Jack Black and Cloris Leachman appeared in a movie within the series? Now let’s get into the actors who people might have forgotten appeared on The Office once upon a time.

The Office fans who flat-out refused to continue the series once Steve Carell’s Michael Scott left missed out on Joan Cusack being revealed as Erin’s biological mother in the series finale.

Michael Imperioli
Universal Television

Regarding the characters Michael Imperioli has played, one has to wonder which one had it worse: Christopher Moltisanti on The Sopranos, who had to deal with the dangers of being in a crime family, or Sensei Billy, the karate instructor to the overzealous Dwight Schrute.

The reason many might overlook Anna Camp’s appearance in The Office is that she’s in one of the most crucial episodes where Jim and Pam finally get married as the latter’s sister.

Ken Jeong

Ken Jeong
IMDB/Universal Television

Ken Jeong took a chance on a dream when he left the medical field to pursue comedy, and it paid off, but before he was starring in The Hangover movies and making insane guesses on The Masked Singer (it’s never going to be Obama), he was part of Michael Scott’s improv class.

Only the biggest fans of both The Office and Gotham know that the young Bruce Wayne played Robert California’s son in one of the series’ classic Halloween episodes.

Melissa Rauch

Melissa Rauch
IMDB/Universal Television

One of the most awkward moments in The Office was when Pam accidentally breastfed the wrong newborn. The other baby belonged to the future star of The Big Bang Theory and Night Court , Melissa Rauch. Fun fact! Jenna Fischer’s husband was also in that episode as the breastfeeding consultant.

Dakota Johnson

Dakota Johnson

If The Office had continued into a 10th season, perhaps fans would’ve gotten to know Dakota Johnson’s character more, as she was a new accountant who took over for Kevin when he was let go from Dunder Mifflin at the end of the series.

Amy Adams

Amy Adams

The only way people forget about Amy Adams as the infamous “Purse Girl” who wins Jim Halpert’s heart for a second is because they confuse her with her celebrity twin, Isla Fisher.
