Boba Fett Actor Temuera Morrison tells Star Wars Fans to Take Earnest Action for Fett’s Return

Boba Fett is one of the most strangely popular Star Wars characters. Despite having only four lines in the original trilogy, his merchandise manages to outsell many of the major characters. Even though he seemed to die in Return of the Jedi, Disney still brought the character back for the Disney+ shows The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Now, his actor is telling fans to beg Disney to bring Fett back again.

Temuera Morrison on Boba Fett’s Return

Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in Attack of the Clones along with the many clones in both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith, took on the role of Jango’s clone son Boba for The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. According to Variety, Morrison was at the Tampa Bay Comic Convention. He was asked if he had more projects lined up for the galaxy far, far away, and he said he didn’t. Then he had this to add on:

“We really have to treasure those moments now. All of you need to send a fax, or a letter or an email to those powers that be at Lucasfilm. I’m sure they’d love to hear from everyone. Please give Daniel Logan and Temuera Morrison another chance and put them somewhere.”

Daniel Logan: “Temuera is the greediest person in ‘Star Wars.’”

Daniel Logan, who played young Boba in Attack of the Clones, was also at the convention. He stated that there will be “plenty of opportunities” for Morrison to be in another Star Wars project, given how many projects Disney and Lucasfilm have lined up. He also joked that Morrison is “the greediest person in Star Wars,” given his multiple roles as the different clones, saying “he’s got the most characters.”

Who Played the Original Boba Fett?

In the original trilogy, Fett was played by Jeremy Bulloch, who died in 2020. Morrison has taken on the role with grace. When we last saw him, Fett was enjoying a comfortable life as ruler of Mos Espa, but there are definitely other places where Disney could take the character. He might want revenge against Han Solo for knocking him into the Sarlacc pit, for example. Perhaps the fans will listen to Morrison and petition Disney for the bounty hunter’s return.
