It's not often you see a musician offer up a refund on the spot because he or she was unhappy with their concert performance that night.
That's what country music star Luke Bryan did last Thursday though when he became unsatisfied with his sound during a show at the Walmart Arkansas Music Pavilion in Rogers, Arkansas.
In a video circulating on TikTok, Bryan tells the crowd he didn't like how he sounded, and as a result, was going to give them their money back.
“This is the weirdest thing I’ve ever dealt with in my life,” Bryan told fans, adding that he had seen fellow country star Luke Combs do the same thing. “I cannot have my voice in this venue for some reason. It happens every time, I don’t know why. ...
“I don’t give a damn. I’m gonna refund everybody their tickets tonight, and we’re going to keep doing the damn show, OK?”
Several people in the comments section of the video blamed “Arkansas allergies” for Bryan sounding off. Whatever it was, the 48-year-old singer announced on Facebook Friday that he would be rescheduling his two shows that weekend in Lafayette, Louisiana and Dallas, Texas due to illness.
Bryan will instead play Lafayette on Sept. 11 and Dallas the following night.
"Please hold on to your tickets—they will be honored for the new dates. Thank you for your understanding," he wrote.
Bryan is currently in the middle of his "Country Song Come On Tour." He is scheduled to perform at the Country Stampede in Bonner Springs, Kansas on Thursday, followed by a show at NebraskaLand Days in North Platte, Nebraska on Friday.
He'll wrap up the weekend playing at Country Jam in Grand Junction, Colorado Saturday. Bryan's tour runs through Oct. 4, when he'll play the Country Calling Festival in Ocean City, Maryland.
