Ironheart did more than just fill the MCU’s “brilliant scientist in a flying suit of armor” void. The Disney+ series also brought Phase 5 to an end. No, seriously, an entire Phase of the MCU came and went without anyone noticing. Something tells us that won’t be the case with the next era of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which will both begin and end with two of the most anticipated entries in the series’ history. What will happen in-between them? Here’s everything that’s coming in the MCU’s Phase 6.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps (July 25, 2025)

Marvel’s first family is finally joining the franchise in the movie that will kick off MCU Phase 6, The Fantastic Four: First Steps. We know from Thunderbolts* that the super squad is destined to arrive on Earth-616, and when they do they’ll be sticking around.

Eyes of Wakanda (August 27, 2025)

The Black Panther has never been Wakanda’s only hero, and this new animated Disney+ series will introduce us to many of the powerful nation’s many other brave warriors throughout its history. The show will follow them as they travel around world to find stolen Vibranium artifacts from their many enemies.

The MCU is getting into the spooky spirit this year with Marvel Zombie, another animated Disney+ series. It won’t be the first time we see the undead in the franchise. They’ve made their presence felt on What If…? But Phase 6 will mark their own standalone show.

After two animated shows, Marvel will close out the calendar year with a live-action series. Yahya Abdul-Mateen II will star as Simon Williams, a super powered actor with a super secret. The show looks like it will be a lot of fun. How could it not when it will also see Ben Kingsley reprise his MCU role as infamous thespian, Trevor Slattery.

It won’t be long before fans get that second season of Daredevil: Born Again. Marvel Studios’ announced it was happening before season one even finished. While things can (and often do) change with the MCU’s release schedule, for now the Disney+ series is expected to debut in 2026.

No one in the MCU remembers Peter Parker, but moviegoers certainly haven’t forgotten about Tom Holland’s webbed-slinger who will return in Phase 6. Spider-Man: Brand New Day will mark a brand new beginning for the character following the end of his Home Trilogy.

Jon Bernthal’s vigilante made his MCU proper debut on a fellow Defenders Disney+ series, Daredevil: Born Again. Now, in addition to appearing in Spider-Man: Brand New Day, Bernthal is writing his own The Punisher special. It will premiere in 2026.

There’s been talk of a Vision spinoff since Wanda freed Westview from her magical prison. That was in 2021. Now in 2026 he’s supposedly finally getting his own show with the working title Vision Quest. (Not to be confused with the classic Matthew Modine sports movie of the same name.)

The Disney+ animated series is returning for a second season, but it’s not clear if it’ll make it to the streaming site in 2026 or (what we’d guess would be early) 2027. Marvel executive Brad Winderbaum has previously said he’d like a new season every year, but that in animation “there’s a bigger gap between season 1 and season 2 than in subsequent season.”

Remember when we were getting an Armor Wars series? Or did we just remind you? Either way, the show still has an official logo and page at Marvel.com, so maybe we’ll finally see it during Phase 6. We wouldn’t bet on it, but it at least qualifies as a “maybe.”

Black Panther 3

Black Panther 3 is definitely happening. Kevin Feige himself confirmed that at the end of 2024. Director Ryan Coogler is even writing a part specifically for Denzel Washington. But we have no idea when it will go into production, let alone when it will come to theaters. If it arrives before the end of 2027, it will be part of Phase 6.

Shang-Chi 2 and Doctor Strange 3

After an uncomfortable amount of years where no one even acknowledged the character’s existence, Marvel Studios proved they actually did remember Simu Liu’s superhero is part of the franchise when they announced he’ll appear in Doomsday. That should finally lead the way for Shang-Chi 2, but the sequel still feels a long ways away so it seems more likely to come out during Phase 7 alongside other projects like an X-Men movie and a third Doctor Strange entry.
