As of now, the next installment of the John Wick saga, Ballerina, is available to watch at home. On August 12, 2025, Ballerina jumped from movie theaters to video-on-demand. This means you can now watch Ana de Armas kicking butt on Amazon, Apple TV+, Google Play, and elsewhere.
As Eve Macarro, de Armas has nonstop combat throughout the movie, but, in a new, exclusive, behind-the-scenes clip, actress and stunt performer Anisha Gibbs talks about how exactly one fight between her character and Eve was created and choreographed. Men's Journal is pleased to present this new featurette from Lionsgate, which also sports behind-the-scenes insight from Norman Reedus.
As Gibbs revealed, after performing as a body double for Halle Berry in John Wick 3, she's returned to the franchise as a different assassin, fighting against Eve in a crucial scene.
Gibbs points out that this fight scene isn't like a lot of other fight scenes in the movie, and required a lot of very specific planning to make happen. The final result in the movie is lightning fast, but in real life, it took a ton of preparation.
Ballerina is now available for purchase from VOD vendors. Meanwhile, the next theatrical installment in the series, John Wick 5, has yet to have a confirmed release date. But some rumors suggest that the movie might not come out until 2028. Although Keanu Reeves is re-teaming with Chad Stahelski, the director is also tapped to shoot the Highlander reboot.
So, for now, the newest installment in the John Wick chronicles is Ballerina.
