Hayden Christensen became universally recognizable as Anakin Skywalker in Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones (2002) and Episode III — Revenge of the Sith (2005).
The 40-year-old actor already decided to portray Darth Vader for the upcoming Disney Plus Star Wars television series Obi-Wan Kenobi alongside Ewan McGregor, and Friday, it was exclusively reported by The Hollywood Reporter that Christensen is reprising Skywalker for yet another Disney Plus live-action series:
"Rosario Dawson is starring as the fan-favorite character of Ahsoka Tano, a Jedi Knight survivor popular in the animation side of Star Wars who made her live-action debut in the second season of The Mandalorian. Plot details are being kept in the far reaches of the Outer Rim but it is known that longtime Star Wars lightsaber wielder Dave Filoni is writing the series and exec producing with Jon Favreau."
THR added that Disney did not provide comment, and while "it is not known whether [Christensen] will appear as Skywalker in flashbacks or Vader, or both," production is expected to start early next year.
