Jonah Hill using toy fart machine Julia Louis-Dreyfus gifted him on 'Don't Look Up' press tour

Nobody can stop Jonah Hill from fake farting.

Hill stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Monday (Dec. 6) to promote Adam McKay's Don't Look Up, in which he stars as son and chief of staff to Meryl Streep's President Janie Orlean, and brought "an old-school fart machine" with him.

"Funny for, like, a six-year-old, maybe," Hill explained. "I did a movie with Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and she's the coolest. When I was saying I'm going to do press with this movie Don't Look Up with all these huge movie stars in it—like Leonardo DiCaprio and Meryl Streep and Jennifer Lawrence and Tyler Perry, et cetera, et cetera, Rob Morgan—and I'm like, 'Wouldn't it be funny if I'm with all these fancy people, and I have a really stupid, three-year-old fart machine?'"

"Julia, being awesome, gets me this as a wrap gift," the two-time Oscar nominee continued. "And so, I've been working with the machine for a few days now. We did this big, fancy press conference, and I did the fart machine when somebody was talking about climate change."

Hill noted that his co-stars "did not find it funny," though, "Meryl Streep, being the OG legend that she is, did find it funny, which is why I ride for her any time, day or night." But it got to the point where McKay was asked by Netflix to tell Hill to stop using the fart machine during the press tour.

"I just wanna say officially: I love you Netflix. I love working with you. I am a huge fan. I watch your streamer, but no corporate entity will ever silence my digital farts…" Hill concluded.
