Paul Rudd jokes who his wife would have voted for 'Sexiest Man Alive'

Part of Paul Rudd's charm is his humility.

The 52-year-old actor is fully leaning into that part of his personality since he was revealed as People's 2021 "Sexiest Man Alive" last week, including at the New York City premiere of Ghostbusters: Afterlife on Monday night.

When asked on the red carpet by Extra 's Cheslie Kryst if his wife, Julie Yaeger, would have voted for him as "Sexiest Man Alive," Rudd jested, "No, she would have voted for Keanu Reeves. Come on, he's Keanu. I'd vote for him!"

"She was stupefied," Rudd previously told People for his "Sexiest Man Alive" accompanying cover story, speaking again of Yaeger. "But you know, she was very sweet about it. After some giggling and shock, she said, 'Oh, they got it right.' And that was very sweet. She was probably not telling the truth, but what's she going to say?"

Rudd and Yaeger have been married since 2003 and share two children, 12-year-old daughter Darby and 17-year-old son Jack.
