‘So incredibly happy’ — Kylie Kelce congratulates Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift while also revealing why she waited to speak on their engagement

Everyone couldn't wait to hear what the Kelce family had to say after Taylor Swift went public, revealing that Travis Kelce had proposed. However, Kylie Kelce has stayed out of the spotlight, not making any public comments since it happened. And she addressed the reason for that on the latest episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast.

"I have made a very conscious effort to not discuss Taylor and Travis on this podcast because news outlets, tabloids, and AI, quite frankly, like to post," Kylie explained.

"I don't need to come out here and make statements when I already talked to them," she added. "You see what I'm saying? I don't need you to clickbait my s---. I don't need you to take my comments and try and dissect it."

But she also took a moment to congratulate the happy couple and welcome another member to the family.

"I think it goes without being said [that] I am so incredibly happy for them," she said. "We are so excited that they are taking this next step. The girls are so excited to get another aunt. I am so truly happy for them, and I feel so grateful that we get to welcome Taylor into our family in a more official capacity."

"But it's our private relationship. So that's my brother-in-law, Travis, and my soon-to-be sister-in-law, Taylor," she added.

On Tuesday, Aug. 26, the star couple announced that they are engaged with a post by the singer on Instagram.

“Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married ,” Swift captioned the post, which included numerous photos of the two in a beautiful garden with flowers all around them.
