THE FANTASTIC FOUR: FIRST STEPS Clip Shows a Sunday Dinner With a Big Announcement

The Fantastic Four: First Steps is only a couple of weeks away from flying into theaters. We cannot wait to see this famed comic quartet come to life once again, with Pedro Pascal leading the way as Mr. Fantastic. So far, everything we’ve seen is a retro good vibe with a family feel. And that’s even more evident in this clip from The Fantastic Four: First Steps that shows a Sunday dinner that’s not so typical after all.

Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm a.k.a. The Thing are sitting at the dinner table for their normal Sunday meal. Unlike my chaotic family, this group apparently eats at 7PM sharp. The problem is that Reed and Sue are slightly late, which Johnny notes as H.E.R.B.I.E. chills in the background.

The duo appear and are acting a bit strange, which Ben observes with an expressive eyebrow raise and grin. He soon spills the tea before either of them can, accurately surmising that Sue is pregnant. We already knew that Franklin Richards would make his MCU debut in this film, but it is still a nice moment to witness.

Johnny thinks that Reed will be overwhelmed with fatherhood, but he’s sure he will be an awesome uncle. Aww.

It’s a sweet moment of embrace that gives us a taste of what we will see in The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which I hope has a couple more Sunday dinners in the mix.
