Tim Burton Is Working on a Mysterious New Animated Project

Tim Burton is apparently going back to his animated roots for a mysterious new feature project. In a recent interview with Milenio, Burton revealed that he’s waiting for the script of an animated project. (Thanks to World of Reel for bringing this to our attention.) He kept things very, very mum, simply saying, “I am working on something as an animated project. So, hopefully I’ll have the script soon and take it from there. It’s something I’m very excited about.”

Burton continues to be a busy guy with a third Beetlejuice movie in the works as well. And he’s likely going to be on the press circuit for a while with Wednesday season two coming later this summer.

Honestly, it doesn’t matter what this animated film is about because Tim Burton always delivers. There’s a reason why The Nightmare Before Christmas continues to resonate with the masses.

We can’t wait to find out more information about this animated Tim Burton project.
