Welcome back, comic fans! It’s Wednesday again — that magical day when the shelves restock and our comics pull lists overflow. Whether you’re chasing Gotham’s finest thief, mutant mayhem, or nostalgic ‘80s energy, this week’s lineup delivers plenty to get excited about. Here are five standout issues hitting stores on October 15, 2025, that you won’t want to miss.
Selina Kyle has covertly infiltrated a high-stakes criminal auction in Venice, but as always, she’s not the only Gotham operative with designs on what lies inside. Written by Torunn Grønbekk with art by Danilo Beyruth, this issue presses on the question: who else from Gotham has tracked her across continents—and will any of them walk away unscathed? With variant covers by Frank Cho, Derrick Chew, W. Scott Forbes, and a “Pumpkin Spicy” variant, it’s as much a feast for the eyes as it is for the story.
The diabolical Mr. Sinister is back—and he’s assembled a new rogue’s gallery for his latest gambit. In a preview from Marvel, “What has Sinister offered Havok, Black Cat, Domino, Omega Red, Fantomex, and Venom to convince them to take on impossible odds? Are Sinister’s misfits throwing their lives away, or has Revelation underestimated how far his subjects will go when there’s nothing left to lose?” This opening issue teases a heist with cosmic stakes and moral ambiguity. Expect dark intrigue, shifting allegiances, and the distinct sense that Sinister’s plan will test everything these characters believe about power and loyalty.
A special release straight out of New York Comic Con 2025! In a preview from IDW, “When Donatello is invited to a prestigious robotics camp for genius kids, he’s excited to rebuild Metalhead and compete for the camp’s prize for best robot. But when the competition goes haywire, Donnie’s forced to wonder who really invited him, and what do they want with Metalhead?” Writer Mikey Levitt (of the TMNT animated team) and artist Louie Joyce bring a vibrant, kinetic energy to the issue, giving longtime fans and new readers alike a perfect entry point. Witty banter, visual flair, and emotional threads make this debut a standout.
The long-standing tension between the ThunderCats of the Cat’s Lair and the Knights of Thundera escalates toward a decisive confrontation. Written by Declan Shalvey with art by Drew Moss, this issue promises a turning point for Third Earth’s fate. In a preview from Dynamite, “In this electrifying issue, the escalating clash of wills between the ThunderCats of the Cat’s Lair and the Knights of Thundera finally comes to a head – and the ultimate destiny of all the Thunderans on Third Earth hangs in the balance!”
In this penultimate issue of the arc, past and present collide as the Prime Rangers face their greatest challenge yet. Red Ranger Lauren uncovers a lead on her missing family—but will they recognize the hero she’s become? Meanwhile, Volar’s forces tighten their grip, and a final showdown with the Black Prime Ranger’s father looms. Additionally, the issue pits Rita Repulsa against Janessa, adding personal conflict to the galactic stakes. Expect tension, revelations, and emotional depth as the first arc reaches its crescendo.
So, which one to pick up first? If you crave shadowy intrigue, “Sinister’s Six” is a strong bet. For action and heart, “Tales of the TMNT” offers both. Meanwhile, Catwoman fans will love the globetrotting, and “ThunderCats” continues to deliver sweeping mythic drama. If you’ve been riding with the Prime Rangers, #11 is a must for its emotional stakes and looming climax.
