Led by reigning Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams, the USC Trojans are off to a flying start for their final year in the Pac-12 Conference. So far this season, Lincoln Riley’s team has racked up easy wins against its first several opponents, including San Jose State and Stanford.

However, USC’s road to the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship will get tougher in the second half of the season. In October and November, the Trojans will be put to the test when they take on longtime rivals Notre Dame and, later, conference heavyweights Utah, Washington and Oregon. If you want to catch all of the action, make sure you’re subscribed to one of these live TV streaming services.

Watch USC football with Hulu + Live TV

  • Pricing begins at $76.99/mo
  • 95+ live TV channels
  • 3-day free trial

Brought to you by one of the best-known names in streaming, Hulu + Live TV gives you access to 90+ live channels and Hulu’s deep catalog of on-demand programming. The plan begins at $76.99 per month and comes with subscriptions to Disney Plus and ESPN Plus as well.

Hulu + Live TV comes with ABC, ESPN, Fox and NBC, so you can watch this year’s USC football games on those networks. If you want even more sports coverage, you can select the Sports Add-On for $9.99 per month, which comes with NFL RedZone, MAVTV, Outdoor Channel and more.

Is Hulu + Live TV a good choice for sports fans?

As a Hulu + Live TV subscriber, you’ll be able to watch college and professional sports on channels like the ACC Network, Big 10 Network, ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNEWS, ESPNU, FS1, FS2, CBS Sports Network, NFL Network, SEC Network, TBS, TNT and TruTV.

Between these channels and the local networks, you can watch many of the year’s biggest sports events, including March Madness, the NBA Finals and the World Series. For that reason, Hulu + Live TV is a particularly good option for baseball and basketball fans.

While Hulu + Live TV has a good mix of sports channels, it’s missing many RSNs. If you have an NBC Sports RSN in your area (such as NBC Sports California or NBC Sports Chicago), you’ll get access to that. But other RSNs – like Altitude Sports, NESN and Bally Sports channels – aren’t available through Hulu + Live TV. It also doesn’t have the Pac-12 Network, which means that you might miss out on some USC Trojans coverage.

Watch USC football with DIRECTV STREAM

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 75+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

Look no further than DIRECTV STREAM, which features four plans (Entertainment, Choice, Ultimate and Premier), which cost between $79.99 and $164.99 per month. Each plan offers 75+ channels, unlimited DVR storage and simultaneous streaming on multiple screens.

DIRECTV STREAM has several channels where you can watch USC football, including Fox and NBC. You can also upgrade your plan with premium network add-ons.

Is DIRECTV STREAM a good choice for sports fans?

Sports fans should appreciate DIRECTV STREAM’s channel lineup, which features local networks and numerous sports channels. Some highlights include CBS Sports Network, ESPN,  FanDuel TV, Fox Sports 1 (FS1), Fox Sports 2 (FS2), MLB Network, NBA TV, NHL Network and Tennis Channel. Currently, DIRECTV STREAM doesn’t offer the Pac-12 Network, which could be a letdown for Trojans fans.

DIRECTV STREAM has quite a few Regional Sports Networks (RSNs), which is great news if you like following your local professional sports teams. Popular RSNs on DIRECTV STREAM include Bally Sports and NBC Sports networks, like Bally Sports Southeast and NBC Sports California. RSNs vary by location and are available in Choice, Ultimate and Premier plans.

As an NCAA football fan, you can catch games and programs on DIRECTV STREAM’s many local and sports networks, as well as its college-focused channels, such as the ACC Network, Big 10 Network, ESPNU and SEC Network. Prefer the pros? You can watch the regular season, postseason and Super Bowl on DIRECTV STREAM, and you can tune into the NFL Network for year-round football coverage.

Watch USC football with Fubo

  • Pricing begins at $79.99/mo
  • 161+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

With an impressive 179+ channels, Fubo has no shortage of live and on-demand content. Fubo has three plans (Pro, Elite and Ultimate), ranging from $74.99 to $99.99 per month. You’ll also get 1,000 hours of cloud DVR storage, so you can record your favorite teams, TV shows and movies.

Every Fubo plan comes with dozens of sports channels, including heavy-hitters like CBS Sports Network, ESPN and FS1. If that’s not enough, you can personalize your plan with add-ons. There’s plenty of non-sports programming to choose from as well, with networks like Animal Planet, Bloomberg Television, Bravo and HGTV on the channel lineup.

Is Fubo a good choice for sports fans?

Fubo markets itself as a streaming service for sports fans – and it’s easy to see why. With a broad selection of domestic and international sports channels (as well as local networks), the service has something for every sports lover. For example, you can keep up with college football on the Big 10 Network and the Pac-12 Network, catch the latest professional games on the NFL Network, and explore overseas leagues on beIN Sports and TUDN.

If you’re passionate about your local teams, you may be able to watch them on one of Fubo’s RSNs. The service has the Bally Sports and NBC Sports networks, along with other RSNs like Marquee Sports Network. Be aware, though, that the company charges an extra fee (between $10.99 and $14.99 per month) if your plan includes RSNs, even if you don’t watch them.

While Fubo will appeal to all kinds of sports fans, it’s probably best for football fans. Whether you prefer college or the pros, you can watch regular season, playoff and championship games (including the Pac-12 Championship and Super Bowl) through this service. Followers of international sports will also appreciate the platform’s breadth of overseas sports coverage. Fubo is also a decent option for MLB and NBA fans, but since it doesn’t offer TBS and TNT, you may miss out on some games.

Watch USC football with Sling TV

  • Pricing begins at $40.00/mo
  • 31+ live TV channels
  • Free trial currently unavailable

If you’re cutting costs but still want to watch at least a few USC football games, consider a Sling TV subscription. This service is more affordable than the other options on this list, with prices starting at $40 per month.

You can choose from three plans: Sling Orange, Sling Blue and Sling Orange & Blue. With Sling Orange, you’ll get 32+ channels, including ESPN and ESPN2. If you opt for Sling Blue, you’ll have 42+ channels, including big sports brands like FS1 and NFL Network. Alternatively, you can sign up for Sling Orange & Blue to get 46+ channels from both of the standalone plans.

Is Sling TV a good choice for sports fans?

Sling TV could be a good option for budget-conscious sports fans. Depending on where you live, you may get certain local channels (ABC, Fox and NBC) in a Sling Blue or Sling Orange & Blue plan, so you can catch a few USC games this season. But again, that all depends on your location.

There aren’t many RSNs available through Sling TV, but you can add its Sports Extra to your plan to enjoy more sports programming. No matter which plan you have, this add-on comes with MLB Network, MLB Network StrikeZone, NBA TV and Pac-12 Network, to name a few. If you add Sports Extra to a Sling Orange plan, you’ll also get the ACC Network, Longhorn Network and ESPNU. If you bundle Sports Extra with a Sling Blue plan, you’ll be able to watch the Big 10 Network, NFL RedZone and Golf Channel.

So, who should sign up for Sling TV? It’s best suited for cord-cutters on a tight budget. It might be worth considering if you live in an area that receives local channels and you’re willing to upgrade to Sports Extra for an additional $11 per month. In that case, you could watch every Trojans game (including the Pac-12 Championship, if they’re in it) on Sling TV for less than you’d pay with one of the other providers on this list.

Watch USC football with YouTube TV

  • Pricing begins at $72.99/mo
  • 100+ live TV channels
  • Free trial available

With 100+ channels, YouTube TV is another popular livestreaming service that you can use to watch USC football. To make things easy, there’s just one plan type, which costs $72.99 per month and comes with must-have channels for Trojan fans, including ABC, Fox and NBC.

Beyond sports, YouTube TV also has plenty of other live and on-demand shows and movies. When you scroll through your channel lineup, you’ll see popular networks like AMC, E!, Food Network, MSNBC and TLC. You can also customize your YouTube TV plan to watch content in 4K, view more live sports or get more Spanish-language programming.

Is YouTube TV a good choice for sports fans?

Whether you’re into football, baseball or basketball, all types of sports lovers will find something to appreciate about YouTube TV. Plans include local networks and a good mix of sports channels, such as CBS Sports Network, ESPN, ESPNU, FS1, FS2, Golf Channel and MotorTrend. MLB and NBA fans will be happy to see the Turner networks (TBS, TNT and TruTV) included as well.

One of YouTube TV’s standout features is NFL Sunday Ticket, an optional add-on that gives you access to every Sunday afternoon out-of-market NFL game. For even more football, you can tune into the ACC Network, Big 10 Network, NFL Network and SEC Network. Still not enough? Sign up for the Sports Plus Add-On, which comes with NFL RedZone and costs an additional $10.99 per month.

With a YouTube TV plan, you can catch every big event on the yearly sports calendar – including the Masters, Super Bowl, Kentucky Derby, March Madness and more. The downside of this service is that RSNs are limited to the NBC Sports channels (such as NBC Sports Bay Area). There’s also no option to watch the Pac-12 Network, which may be a deal-breaker for the Trojan faithful.
