Charles Leclerc’s $2.5 Million Yacht Quietly Sits Off Monaco Coast

While the spotlight shines on Charles Leclerc during race weekends, it’s his off-track lifestyle quietly turning heads this week in Monaco.

Ahead of his home Grand Prix, Leclerc’s $2.5 million yacht “Sadichi” is docked just off the coast, a nod to the kind of understated luxury many Formula 1 drivers enjoy away from the cameras.

As revealed by respected F1 photographer and paddock insider Kym Illman, Leclerc owns a Rever 66 Rebel yacht, a 66-foot (20-meter) vessel named Sadichi — the Italian word for “sixteen,” a tribute to his racing number.

The yacht reportedly features three bedrooms and boasts a top speed of 37 knots (around 68 km/h), offering both comfort and performance on the water.

While it hasn’t made a flashy debut this week, Sadichi is very much a symbol of the lifestyle Monaco enables for the drivers like Leclerc.

As Illman notes, many drivers opt for yachts not just as status symbols, but for privacy and escape. With Monaco’s favorable tax laws and the intense travel demands of F1, investing in a floating retreat becomes a logical indulgence.

Leclerc isn’t the only driver enjoying the calm before the storm on the water this week, but his tastefully personalized vessel stands out for its simplicity and meaning.
