Formula 1’s glitziest U.S. race—except the Las Vegas GP—returns this weekend, and it’s more than just fast cars. With palm trees, celebrities, and title drama in the mix, the 2025 Miami Grand Prix promises to deliver the spectacle, storylines, and serious championship stakes.

As the sixth round of the season, Miami isn’t just a calendar filler—it’s a battleground and a sprint weekend. With Red Bull’s Max Verstappen gunning for his fifth title, Lewis Hamilton still searching for a breakthrough with Ferrari, and Oscar Piastri showing serious form, the pressure is rising under the Florida sun.

The street circuit built around the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, is fast, unforgiving, and known to produce chaos—exactly what fans crave.

Running from May 2 to 4, the weekend kicks off on Friday, with the practice session at 12:30 PM ET, followed by Sprint Qualifying at 4:30 PM ET. Saturday, May 3, features the Sprint Race at 12:00 PM ET and the traditional Qualifying session at 4:00 PM ET. The main event, the Grand Prix, takes place on Sunday, May 4, starting at 4:00 PM ET.

The 5.41 km circuit around Hard Rock Stadium, offers a mix of high-speed straights and challenging corners. With 57 laps scheduled, drivers will navigate a total race distance of approximately 308.326 km.

The layout features three DRS zones and a monster back straight that invites overtakes and late-braking tactics. But it’s not just the track keeping teams on edge—the weather might play a wildcard, adding another twist to setup and tire strategies.

Beyond the racing, the Miami GP is a cultural event. Expect packed grandstands, VIP paddock guests, and social media buzzing with every camera flash.
