Max Verstappen Hilariously Warns Ferrari About His Aggressive Actions on Future Pit Stops

Max Verstappen’s list of on-track rivals might include Ferrari drivers, but it has expanded to a far less likely culprit: a cone.

The Red Bull driver was left fuming over a specific Ferrari-placed cone that he claims has been consistently interfering with him. After dealing with it for “ a couple of races,” Verstappen made his frustration clear.

“Ferrari always puts the cones quite far,” Verstappen said, recalling the moment he hit his limit. “I said, ‘If this happens one more time, I’m gonna ruin it completely.’ I told it over the radio after the last race because it’s been a couple of races [of it occurring].”

His solution? A tactical strike. “I thought, ‘If it’s there again , I’m running it over completely.’ If it’s there again later, I’ll do it again.”

The bizarre feud brought a comedic break to the tension of the championship fight. But for Verstappen, the cone’s placement affects more than just pride. Cones mark out the edge of the pit box and misplacement can disrupt a driver’s rhythm.

F1 fans online were quick to pounce on the moment, turning the Red Bull driver’s beef into meme gold. Some joked, “Cones and Bollards…Max Verstappen’s biggest enemies” while other said, “I think this is my favorite rivalry ever.”

Whether Ferrari adjusts the cone placement or Vertsappen follows through on his demolition threat, one thing is clear: no one, not even a cone, gets in Max’s way without consequences.

The Red Bull-Ferrari rivalry is hilariously low to the ground, this time around.
