Davidson has come up with a well-detailed explanation as to why Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton banged wheels at the Hungarian GP. Moreover, he has put a bit of the blame on the Dutchman for his super-aggressive move while locking both his front tires!

No further action by FIA on Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton crash

While the world is chomping at the bits to have their say on the Verstappen-Hamilton Budapest crash, the FIA has decided to not take any action. They have deemed it as a racing incident where no driver was at fault.

The driver of Car 44 stated that this was a racing incident, whilst the driver of Car 1 argued that this was a case of changing direction under braking. The Stewards do not consider this to be a typical case of ‘changing direction under braking’ although it is our determination that the driver of Car 44 could have done more to avoid the collision. Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton’s crash brought flashbacks of the infamous 2021 season. During that time the duo often got into close combat with each other. Looking ahead, the ongoing campaign has much to offer, after just 13 rounds, the season has produced seven different Grand Prix winners.

The 2024 season is a must-see spectacle where the lights of Verstappen and Hamilton could again be seen tussling and bringing joy to fans all over the globe. The Dutchman is currently sitting on seven wins this year.
