2023 Chicago Bears Schedule Released

As soon as the NFL season concluded on Jan. 8, the Chicago Bears already knew their opponents for the 2023 campaign. In the five months between then and now, a lot has happened, culminating with Thursday's 2023 NFL schedule release festivities.

The Bears locked up the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft
Kevin Warren was hired as the team's CEO & President
Ted Phillips retired
The team officially purchased the Arlington Park land
Ryan Poles traded the top pick away for a haul

As OTAs approach, the Monsters of the Midway are ready to hit the field and make some noise with a newly constructed roster.

As we inch closer and closer to the start of the 2023 NFL season, the league finally released its full schedule of games for all 32 teams.

Primetime Bears?

Coming off a 3-14 season, one would not expect the worst team in the NFL to have multiple primetime games. Yet, here we are. The Bears have four such contests on the slate with more possible via the flex scheduling and still two games "to be determined."

The Bears may be a hot-ticket item given the offseason they had, which has resulted in a more competent cast of characters surrounding Justin Fields. Then again, it could just be a matter of giving a top-3 market team some exposure.

With their tank season now in the rearview, the Bears hope to avoid being the butt of jokes on nationally televised broadcasts moving forward.
