The San Francisco 49ers are holding a Monday morning practice, the final session before trimming their roster to the mandatory 53 players by Tuesday at 1 p.m. PT. Encouragingly, several players returning from injury took the field.
According to Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle, defensive linemen Mykel Williams and CJ West both returned to practice after recovering from hyperextended knee injuries.
Additionally, projected starting left guard Ben Bartch practiced again following an elbow injury, boosting the team's depth heading into the regular season.
