The Oreo concept is a strong one with Jordan Brand, but which silhouette and design does it the best? It's debatable, but for me, the answer is the Air Jordan 5 'Oreo.' The mixture of the speckled black that is signature with the color theme and the soft suede makes it a winner. This one is still available. Let's talk sneakers.

StockX, GOAT, and Flight Club are the places to look — and you'll pay above retail for every size. Current StockX prices run $235 to $752 for men's sizes 7 through 14, with size 7 carrying the steepest premium at the top of that range.
For the more common sizes between 9 and 12, expect to pay roughly $40 to $120 over the original $190 retail on the 2021 Moonlight version. The 2013 pair (136027-035) generally sits in the same band, though deadstock examples can push higher.
The shark-tooth midsole is literally why the Oreo name exists — no other Jordan wears this concept as naturally. The speckled white midsole paired with the black Durabuck nubuck upper creates the cleanest black-and-white-and-speckled execution in the entire Oreo family.
The Durabuck itself is softer and more premium than the standard leather used on most AJ5 retros, and the translucent netting on the side panels breaks up the palette just enough. Add the icy translucent outsole and a Cool Grey Jumpman on the tongue, and you have the most balanced Oreo design Jordan Brand has produced.
It's a close call for second, but the AJ6 Oreo gets the edge thanks to the 35th anniversary retro coming in August. The 2026 retro (style code CT8529-108, $215) drops August 22 — the first retro of this colorway in 16 years, and one of the most anticipated AJ6 drops of the year.
The AJ6 Oreo runs a black nubuck base with white tumbled leather overlays and speckled detailing on the midsole, heel spoiler, and lace lock. It's a premium build that holds up visually, and the upcoming retro means you'll actually be able to cop at retail — which the AJ5 Oreo can't offer in 2026.
It's a respectable third, but the AJ4 Oreo doesn't hit the same speckled-cookie aesthetic as the others. The Cool Grey nubuck dominates the upper, and while the black wings and speckled midsole check the Oreo boxes, the overall palette leans more "Cool Grey" than true black-and-white.
Still, it's a solid AJ4 retro with strong materials and a recognizable silhouette, and 2015 pairs (style 314254-003) run roughly $300 to $500 on resale. Worth owning if you're completing the Oreo rotation, but not the one to chase first.
