Alabama 4-Star LB target set to announce commitment decision

Kenneth Simon is set to announce his commitment decision on Monday.

Simon is a 2027 four-star linebacker prospect, and he attends Brentwood Academy in Tennessee. He is expected to choose between Alabama, Georgia, Ole Miss and Tennessee.

The Crimson Tide offered Simon in September, and he has made his way to Tuscaloosa multiple times for visits. A commitment from Simons would give the Tide its first 2027 linebacker commit.

At 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, the rising senior is a linebacker who can play sideline-to-sideline with the ability to make tackles in space effectively. He flashes the potential to make plays as an off-the-ball linebacker and as an edge rusher. While getting after the passer may not be his primary role at the college football level, if he can translate his ability to pass rush effectively to the next level, he will have an opportunity to stay on the field more.
