Moussa Dembele feinted in Atletico Madrid training on Tuesday – and the footage of it is pretty harrowing.

Dembele signed for Atletico on an initial loan deal in the January window, with Diego Costa having been released from his contract and Diego Simeone in need of a deputy for Luis Suarez.

The Frenchman came on as a substitute during Atletico’s defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, but like most of his appearances in an Atleti shirt to date, he was unable to have any sort of influence.

Dembele has been making the headlines over the past 24 hours, though, but unfortunately for the wrong reasons, with the Lyon loanee having collapsed during Atletico Madrid training.

With Fabrice Muamba and Abdelhak Nouri having had their career’s ended in similar circumstances, those present at the Atletico training ground could be forgiven for fearing the worst when they saw Dembele collapse like this…

As reported by Sky Sports, Dembele was unconscious for over a minute, but eventually woke up and assured the medical team on-sight that he was fine.

It seems as though the 24-year-old merely feinted, which is a huge relief.
