Texas Longhorns quarterback Arch Manning began his collegiate career with some incredibly high expectations. Coming out of high school, the son of Cooper Manning and the nephew of NFL legends Eli Manning and Peyton Manning, Arch Manning was the No. 1 overall recruit in the class of 2023, according to 247Sports.
Through three years at Texas, Manning has played in 25 games, completing 62.3% of his passes for 4,132 yards and 35 touchdowns with nine interceptions. He has also been a force in the running game, rushing for 514 yards and 14 more scores on the ground.
Heading into the 2025 college football season with Manning as the starter, Texas was one of the favorites to take home the College Football Playoff National Championship.
The Longhorns did not live up to the sky-high expectations that were set for them last season. Manning started all 13 games for Texas, as it finished the year with a 10-3 record, including a win in the Citrus Bowl but without a berth in the 12-team CFP.
Manning threw for 3,163 yards and 26 touchdowns with seven interceptions in the 2025 season. He also scored 10 rushing touchdowns, showing off his dual-threat ability. After the season was over, Manning announced he would return to Texas for 2026, passing up an opportunity to enter the NFL Draft.
On Thursday, before he begins his fourth year with the Longhorns, Manning announced some exciting career news on Instagram, as he partnered with Google Gemini.
"@GoogleGemini is the ultimate study companion," the caption read.
Manning and Texas will head into the 2026 season as one of the favorites in the Southeastern Conference again, as they hope to get back to the CFP.
