Bassmaster Classic week is upon us! Bass geeks like myself wait all year, so we don't want to miss anything. But there's so much going on it can be difficult to keep up. I looked for a resource like this for myself, but when I didn't find anything I decided to make one and share it with all my fellow geeks.
The 2024 Bassmaster Classic will be based in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
The Bassmaster Classic Kickoff Party is Thursday, March 21, from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., outside the BOK Center (W. 3rd Street) in downtown Tulsa. There will be FREE live music starting at 6:30 p.m. from the Toyota Music Den featuring Stoney LaRue!
Yes, the public is encouraged to attend the morning takeoffs. The competition will take place on nearby Grand Lake, and the morning takeoff is from Wolf Creek Park and Boating Facility in Grove, Oklahoma. Come cheer on your favorite anglers.
The Bassmaster Classic Outdoors Expo is at the Cox Business Center in Tulsa and includes a wide variety of exhibitors offering fishing, hunting, camping gear. And, the biggest manufacturing companies will be there to answer your questions and show you their newest releases. Plus, meet your favorite pros, take a quick selfie, and get a few fishing tips. It’s an outdoor enthusiast’s dream!

B.A.S.S. has announced a new event for this year, the Bassmaster Classic Progressive Celebrity Pro-Am Tournament presented by Bass Pro Shops to kick off the 2024 Bass Pro Shops Bassmaster Classic Presented by Jockey Outdoors.
Staying true to their forward-thinking commitment, Progressive has invited celebrities from the NFL, NASCAR and MLB, as well as top-performing musicians, to join Bassmaster Elite Series anglers in kicking off Classic week events on Skiatook Lake in Skiatook, Okla., March 21 from 7 to 11 a.m.

Yes, the public is encouraged to come to all three of the daily weigh-ins held in the BOK Center, also in downtown Tulsa. Weigh-ins begin at 3:30 p.m. CST on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. You will not want to miss the show!
Tickets for the Bassmaster Classic 2024 are FREE to the public. In fact, there are no tickets needed for any of the events listed above.
A group of 56 anglers will compete in the 54th Bassmaster Classic. From an age and experience standpoint, it’ll be one of the most diverse fields in the event’s history, with competitors ranging from 17-year-old Floridian Aaron Yavorsky (the youngest participant in Classic history) to veteran Oklahoma pro Jason Christie (a 10-time Classic qualifier, the 2022 Classic winner and one of the clear favorites to score another victory on his home waters in 2024).
The field includes the top 41 anglers from the Bassmaster Elite series based on Angler of the Year points. Plus, the 2023 Bassmaster Classic Champion, winner of Elite Event tie in 2023, eight winners from the Bassmaster Opens, the top three finishers from the B.A.S.S. Nation Championship, the winner of the Bassmaster Team Championship Classic Fish-Off, and the top finisher from the Bassmaster College Classic Bracket.

The Bassmaster Classic pays the winner $300,000, and every competitor will win at least $10,000.
The winner of the 2024 Bassmaster Classic will be…difficult to predict. Literally everyone in the field has proven they have the skills needed to take home the trophy.
