Walker Timme, the younger brother of Gonzaga men's basketball's all-time leading scorer Drew Timme, committed to the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks of the Big Sky conference on Monday.
Timme is a 6'7 forward who starred at Richardson, the same high school as his older brother, before he initially began his college career at McNeese State where he redshirted the 2022-23 season.
Timme then transferred near Spokane to play at College of Southern Idaho, a junior college in Twin Falls, Idaho.
He spent two years there, appearing in 27 total games and averaging 10.5 points and 4.3 rebounds in 22.2 minutes per game. He was an effective 57.1% scorer, but, like his brother, struggled at the line with just a 66.1% clip, and went just 1-7 from three.

Now he'll join a Lumberjacks team with a familiar face on staff in Gary Bell, who is an associate head coach at NAU after spending time on Gonzaga's coaching staff a few years ago following his professional playing career.
Timme will not only get his first crack at playing at the Division 1 level, he will be fitting into an offensive system that Bell intentionally modeled off Gonzaga - and while his role will likely be different than his brothers was, the familiarity is a nice bonus for both Timme and the Lumberjacks.
Walker's arrival in Flagstaff gives Gonzaga fans yet another reason to tune into NAU basketball this season, especially when they face former Zag head coach Dan Monson who is now at Eastern Washington.
And Speaking of Drew, he finished his first taste of NBA action this season by averaging 12.1 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.2 assists in nine games with the Brooklyn Nets, recording three double-doubles and even starting a pair of games.
