It is a testament to the old course and the old game. Cam Smith stunned patrons on Wednesday when he played his practice round at Augusta National Golf Club in a suit jacket.
A move that would have gained the tip of the cap from Robert Tyre Jones Jr. himself.

Bobby Jones designed Augusta National as a homage to St Andrews. Today, LIV golfer and former Open Champion Cam Smith paid his respect to that homage. The style was subtle yet extremely noticeable, throwing back to what the classic majors used to embody.
A significant part of the Masters festivities is witnessing what the players and their sponsors will present for the Masters theming. Smith, however, seized the moment and pulled style back several generations to what Augusta was truly founded upon: a game of gentlemen.
Though simple, it is elegant. I cannot wait to see what the rest of the week's lineup brings to the table this week.
