Charles Barkley is never afraid to call out people he thinks are in the wrong, and Aaron Rodgers is the latest to receive that treatment.
In an appearance on Adam Schein’s SiriusXM show Wednesday, Barkley reiterated that he plans to retire from “Inside the NBA” at the end of the current season. When Schein joked that Barkley was having a retirement tour similar to that of Rodgers, the NBA legend had some choice words for the Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback.
“But I tell you what though, I’m not gonna bury everybody going out the door like Aaron,” Barkley said, via Brandon Contes of Awful Announcing. “I’m not gonna burn every bridge and talk bad about all my exes on my way out the door like he’s doing.”
Barkley is referring to an interview Rodgers did in early September, in which he had some less-than-flattering things to say about some of his ex-girlfriends. Rodgers garnered a lot of attention for the candid claims he made about his personal life.
As for Barkley, he claimed before the season that this would be his last as a TV analyst. This is not the first time he has made such a claim, however, so a lot of people will only believe it when they see it.
