College Basketball best teaser for Thursday

College basketball is officially underway, and you know what that means. It's time for some more teasers!

Most D1 teams are done with their exhibition games, and now we can finally bet some games that finally matter. We're still a ways away from conference action, but still, nonconference games are just as exciting, and just as profitable as conference games.

For the first leg of our teaser, we're taking UC-Riverside (+8.5) at home against Loyola Marymount. The Highlanders won 16 games last year, and played Colorado pretty tough on Monday. Yeah, we know CSU-Riverside still lost by 16, but LMU has yet to play a D1 game, and are coming off just an 11-win season a year ago. Even if the Lions win, don't expect it to be by much. Neither team is expected to be all that good this year, and when two teams of the same caliber play one another, especially early in the season, chances are it's going to be pretty close. The uglier this game is, the better. And again, with the teaser boosting the line to 8.5, it's totally worth it. 

As for the final leg of our teaser, take South Dakota State (+10.5). The Jackrabbits took Akron to overtime on Monday, and even if coaches say there's no such thing as moral losses, this was an acceptable defeat. The Zips won 24 games last season, and SDSU gave them everything they could handle. And don't think SDSU got lucky by any means. SDSU won 30 games last season, and even made it to the NCAA tournament. Even if the Jackrabbits don't return to the NCAA tournament again this season, there's a really good chance they beat Boise State, let alone stay within 10 points thanks to the teaser. The Broncos are a much-improved program, but they're far from established. And with that being said, taking the Jackrabbits to stay within double-digits is totally worth it.
