College football bowl season has dealt some incredible matchups as fans await the quarterfinal round of the College Football Playoff.
On Saturday night, a matchup in the Independence Bowl kicked off in Shreveport, Louisiana, for one of the final games of the weekend slate.
The Independence Bowl featured a matchup between the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs and Army Black Knights.
Despite the bowl game seemingly set up for home-field advantage for Louisiana Tech, there was an embarrassing crowd at Independence Stadium.
A social media account by the name of "College Football Campus Tour," posted a video of the game just before kickoff, which highlighted multiple empty sections in the stadium.

Independence Stadium has a seating capacity of 50,000, along with a press box, club area and private suites. The stadium originally opened in 1924 and has since gone through multiple renovations to the fan seating and suites.
The Independence Bowl is an annual postseason game held at the stadium, which was originally named the Bicentennial Bowl before the 1976 season.
Army entered the game as a 14.5-point favorite over the Bulldogs, per ESPN BET.
The Black Knights had a dominant season, heading into the bowl game with an 11-2 record, suffering losses to Navy and Notre Dame.
Louisiana Tech entered the Independence Bowl with a 5-7 record, ranked as the No. 5 team in the Conference USA.
