ESPN decided to air a special edition of "College GameDay" this Friday to preview the Indiana-Notre Dame game. Since it's the start of the College Football Playoff, the network pulled out all the stops to have a stacked rundown.
Before "College GameDay" even kicked off, ESPN announced that comedian Shane Gillis would be the celebrity guest picker. No one really had an issue with that since he's quite popular. With that said, this Friday's show started off with some intense debates about Ohio State, the CFP, and so much more. Fans also went wild over Nick Saban's hat. The Alabama legend generated so much buzz that he was compared to Indiana Jones.
Unfortunately, things went off the rails when "College GameDay" for having Oz Pearlman, a.k.a. "Oz the Mentalist," on the show to do one of his mind-bending segments. While there were definitely people who enjoyed his latest bit, the overwhelming majority of viewers complained about his appearance.
"Oz the mentalist is the biggest fraud out there stop giving this dude air time," one fan said.
A social media user wrote, "I swear I can’t make it a month without having to see Oz The Mentalist on my TV."
Another fan tweeted, "I’m so tired of this guy. It’s either a scam or he’s an actual sorcerer. There’s no in between."
"I will never understand why so many football programs invite this Oz the Mentalist guy to perform," a fourth person commented.

This isn't the first time that "Oz the Mentalist" has been invited on "College GameDay," which is part of the reason why people are tired of his shtick.
That being said, it's pretty evident that Kirk Herbstreit and Pat McAfee aren't tired of seeing "Oz the Mentalist" on the program. They were enamored by his act this Friday.
ESPN's "College GameDay" will be in Columbus this Saturday to preview a playoff showdown between Tennessee and Ohio State.
This weekend could go down as an all-timer for football fans depending on how the CFP plays out.
