Tayler Holder is putting himself first. The rising country music star shared in a vulnerable Instagram post that he's canceling his upcoming 2026 shows. His "When No One's Around Tour" kicked off on May 1. As of writing, Holder's future performance dates, from May 12 to Nov. 28, are still listed on his site, and, per Country Now, he's among the massive lineup for CMA Fest, which runs from June 4 to June 7 in Nashville, Tennessee. It's unclear if the remainder of the tour is canceled or if it's a select number of shows.
Holder divulged in his post about his mental health, revealing that he had been in a "constant struggle" during "the past several months." He admitted he tried to "push through this," but confessed he had reached his limit and needed to "take a step back and focus on getting healthy."
The singer also shared that despite achieving his dreams, he still felt "so lonely" and "unfulfilled." He vowed to take this time to "rest, seek support, and reconnect with myself away from the pressure and pace of touring." He also hoped the much-needed recharge would allow him to return "stronger" and "healthier."
Recently, Holder released his new single, "When No One's Around," in which he gets candid about his mental health struggles. On April 7, the country music star also made his Grand Ole Opry debut.
Fans rushed to the comments on Holder's transparent post to show their support, including fellow musicians in the industry. Born and raised in Alvarado, Texas, the artist got his start as an influencer on TikTok, rising to fame in 2019 before transitioning to country music.
