The Dallas Mavericks recently enhanced their food lineup for the 2024-25 home games at the American Airlines Center. On Friday, the Mavericks partnered with the NHL’s Dallas Stars to dramatically enhance the overall food experience at the American Airlines Center. Mavericks and Stars fans can enjoy new food options starting in the 2024-25 NBA and NHL seasons, such as freshly spun and hand-stretched pizza made with the finest ingredients.
According to Mavs.com, both teams’ fans are at the top of their minds, and the new hand-crafted menus will match the Mavericks and Stars’ aspirations for NBA and NHL championships. Both teams worked closely with the American Airlines Center’s hospitality partner, Levy, and 50 Eggs Hospitality Group to enhance the food experience in the arena. Read on for the full food lineup.
The Dallas Mavericks’ new-look food lineup can improve the fans’ thoughts of the Mavericks home games at the American Airlines Center. Dallas Mavericks Governor Patrick Dumont told Mavs.com, “We are excited to offer these new high-quality food options for our fans. These enhancements are the beginning of our effort to reimagine the experience at American Airlines Center. We are pleased our fans will be able to enjoy these new offerings for the 2024-2025 season and we look forward to sharing more of our plans in the months to come.”
Dallas Stars President and CEO Brad Alberts also told Mavs.com, “We’re thrilled that our fans will be able to choose from a wide array of fantastic food when they come to a Dallas Stars game … Championship-level teams on the ice and on the court go well with championship-level food, and our fans deserve it. We’re thankful to our partners at the Mavericks, Levy, and 50 Eggs Hospitality for coming together to make it all happen.”
The upgraded food at the Dallas Mavericks home games will be more than just pizza. However, pizza is the most-ordered food item at the American Airlines Center, and that’s why 50 Eggs Hospitality brought in Chef Frank Bonnano, who has been nominated for multiple James Beard Foundation Awards and whose restaurants have been recommended by the Michelin Guide.
Bonnano’s cheese and pepperoni pizza will be available at Bonnano Brothers Pizzeria in the arena. 50 Eggs Hospitality’s John Kunkel told Mavs.com, “We are excited to be working with ownership and Levy to give the fans something very special … Together we are taking the food to the next level using only the best ingredients made from scratch.”
The other upgraded food items are a Texas-sized Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich made with 44 Farms shaved rib-eye, Niman Ranch hot dogs featuring the highest quality beef plus artisan handmade jumbo pretzels from Ben’s Pretzels, dulce de leche churros from The Churro Factory, and street tacos with La Nortena Tortilla’s preservative-free corn tortillas, and Levy’s signature smash burger.
But there technically wouldn’t be a Texas feast without barbecue dishes. Zavala’s BBQ will continue to bring the smoke to the arena with fan favorites, such as brisket, ribs, sausage, etc. Zavala’s BBQ has been named to D Magazine’s “Best Restaurants in Dallas Right Now” in 2023 and twice named to The Dallas Observer’s “Top 100 Restaurants in Dallas” in 2022 and 2021.
The 2024-25 signature food menu at the American Airlines Center for the upcoming season and beyond likely won’t disappoint the Dallas Mavericks and Dallas Stars fans. Here’s a closer look at the signature food menu, courtesy of Mavs.com.
