Dana White Makes Bombshell Fight Announcement Involving Johnny Manziel – Wastes No Time Placing Massive Bet

Dana White made a massive bet on a certain opponent not even showing up while announcing Johnny Manziel’s foray into boxing.

Manziel has his own issues with high-profile absences. The former Texas A&M quarterback infamously stood up ‘College GameDay’ during the CFP last season, having agreed to come on as a guest picker for the Aggies clash vs. Miami.

He later blamed it on a virus.

With a fight reportedly set for Adin Ross’s boxing promotion, White does not believe that his opponent will make it.

Johnny Football is supposedly fighting podcaster Bob Menery, who says he’s scheduled to face the ex-QB on May 16.

White says he’s flying to Miami to see the fight. He won’t bet on the outcome; instead, he’s wagering that Menery won’t even show up.

“So you guys have seen all the stuff that’s gone on with me and Nelk and Bob Menery over the years,” White said in a video.

“Menery is back and he has supposedly signed a deal on Adin Ross’ fight show down in Miami to fight Johnny Manziel, okay? So Menery hits me up and says ‘who are you betting on?’ I said ‘I’m betting on you don’t even show up, that’s my bet’.“

Menery has apparently backed off from multiple projects, and White expects the upcoming fight to be one of them. And, with Polymarket offering odds on whether he will show, the UFC boss is risking a cool 10 grand.

“Menery never does anything he says he’s going to do,” White continued. “So Adin Ross’ fight show in Miami, Menery vs Manziel, Polymarket put a bet on it where you can bet whether he shows up or not… There’s no way 49 percent of people believe in Bob Menery and that he’s going to show up.

“There’s no way in hell, so I’m betting $10,000 Menery does not show up. And Bob, if you do and the night before it looks like you’re going to fight, I’m flying to Miami to watch this one.”

Should Menery go through with the fight, White will skip his own event in Vegas.

He would also make the trip short $10K.
