Deion Sanders Jr. Under Fire for Actions After Shedeur Sanders' Browns Debut

Shedeur Sanders is making a surprise bid for the Cleveland Browns' roster after plummeting in the NFL draft, and his older brother is documenting his journey.

He captured a bit of drama after the first NFL action for Sanders this week.

Sanders was once seen as a Top 5 draft pick, but instead fell all the way to the fifth round before the Browns finally called his name. Though the former Colorado quarterback started the offseason at No. 4 on the depth chart, he turned heads with a strong debut in the team's first preseason game.

After the game, Sanders had a somewhat testy exchange with reporter Tony Grossi an earful, in a way that seemed largely playful.

“Tony, I be hoping you got something positive to say about me. You only say negative stuff about me. And I’m like, ‘I ain’t do nothing to you,' " Sanders said.

The exchange was caught on tape by Sanders' brother, Deion Sanders Jr., which irked Grossi. The reporter said this week that he appreciated how Shedeur Sanders addressed him outside the press conference rather than calling him out from the podium, but took issue with Deion Sanders Jr. capturing the exchange.

“I didn’t appreciate the fact that this interaction was filmed without my knowledge,” Grossi said on "The Daily Grossi." “It turns out, it was his brother, who is documenting everything from his rookie season. That’s fine, just now that I’m aware of it, I’ll be a little more careful and everything. But everybody that saw the video, it was good natured. I don’t know what caused us to laugh, I really can’t recall that conversation precisely. But we went on good terms."
