Notre Dame has been pushing for 2025 Geneva (Ill.) Community wide receiver Talyn Taylor for some time now, ever since they offered him during the Pot of Gold last St. Patrick’s Day. Taylor was back on campus several weekends ago for Junior Day, and has set another return trip on April 6th.

"Notre Dame is a special place and they have definitely made me feel wanted,” Taylor said.

This will be Taylor’s fifth trip to campus since being offered by the Irish. The talented pass catcher has also finalized unofficial visits to Georgia (March 23), Ohio State (March 30) and Michigan (April 7). Taylor is considered a consensus four-star recruit by every major recruiting platform. Rivals is especially high on the Illinois native, currently pegging him as the No. 31 overall player and No. 6 wide receiver in the 2025 recruiting class. On3 also currently has Taylor as a Top 100 overall player, sitting at No. 90 on their list.

Taylor also scored a touchdown on the ground, while throwing for four more as a quarterback. He also hauled in an interception on defense while being the main punt returner for the Vikings.
