Coming into Friday’s matchup, the City Reapers have lost just one game this season and have won three by double-digits. Jahki Howard won the OTE Player of the Week award for helping lead the Reapers to a 2-0 week, including a win over the last undefeated team in the league, the Blue Checks. If the Reapers want to avenge their loss to RWE, it’s going to start with slowing down Karter Knox (21 points in last matchup) and Daquan Davis (20 points), which will primarily fall on the shoulders of defensive stalwarts Bryson Tiller and Amari Evans

After falling to the Blue Checks on Friday, RWE dropped to 2-3 and now find themselves in a must-win scenario against the City Reapers. Karter Knox continues to do his thing, averaging 24.6 PPG, the second best mark in the league, but he is in need of some assistance if RWE hopes to stay afloat. In their loss to the Blue Checks, only two other scorers cracked the double-digit points threshold, one of whom was rookie Lincoln Cosby, who became the first freshman to eclipse ten points in league history

While the rest of the Atlanta based OTE teams stayed home last week, the Cold Hearts went to New York and put on a dominant showing. The marquee matchup of the weekend came on Friday evening against Jelly Fam, where the Cold Hearts withstood 28 points from Jelly Fam star Ian Jackson. Young guard Adam Oumiddoch went toe-to-toe with Jackson, as he scored 26 points of his own. If the Cold Hearts hope to capture another win this week, they might need a similar type performance from their budding star ⭐

A 1-1 weekend that saw Ian Jackson get back on track after a slow start to the season has Jelly Fam feeling confident heading into the weekend. Jackson averaged 29.5 PPG over his last two games, as he has firmly cemented himself as one of the league’s top talents. The Jelly Fam defensive front is what is going to have to step up if they hope to defeat the Cold Hearts, as they allowed six players to score in double figures in their last matchup
