Oklahoma University is known for producing some very great quarterbacks throughout its history. There's Sam Bradford, Baker Mayfield, Jalen Hurts, and of course, Kyler Murray. All of those guys are some of the best college quarterbacks to ever play. And, all of them have gone on to the NFL and either are still playing or played their career already.
One of the more successful ones right now has to be either Mayfield or Murray. Both are on teams in the Arizona Cardinals and Tampa Bay Buccaneers that are contending for the postseason. As for Kyler Murray, he is already making it known that he is one of the best QBs in the league, but also to ever wear a Cardinals uniform.
On Sunday, during the insane game that saw him break the franchise record for consecutive passes completed, he had another.
Kyler Murray had an exceptional college career, showcasing his dual-sport prowess at OU. Initially, he joined Oklahoma as a quarterback but also played baseball. His breakout year came in 2018 as the starting quarterback following Mayfield's departure from the NFL.
That season, Murray was nothing short of spectacular, throwing for 4,361 yards and 42 touchdowns, while also rushing for 1,001 yards and 12 touchdowns, leading Oklahoma to the Big 12 Championship and a berth in the College Football Playoff. His performance earned him the Heisman Trophy, making him the second straight OU quarterback to win it.
Moreover, his baseball talent was evident as he was drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the first round of the 2018 MLB Draft, although he ultimately chose to pursue a career in the NFL, where he was drafted first overall by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019.

On Sunday, he moved to third all-time in franchise history for passing yards with over 17,000, which is quite the accomplishment. He is one of Sooners fan's favorite professional players, so the fan base will surely be happy and proud of him.
Murray and the Cardinals will play the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.
