The Missouri Tigers picked up their second commitment in the Class of 2026 on Friday afternoon when consensus four-star linebacker Keenan Harris announced his commitment to Mizzou.
"Got [too] much love for the city, you know I had to put em on my back... Hometown hero," Harris told Rivals in his commitment post.

Harris is a local pickup for Mizzou, hailing from St. Louis University High School in St. Louis, Missouri. He initially narrowed his recruitment to eight schools back in February: Missouri, Kansas State, Illinois, Iowa, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Oregon and Nebraska. On Thursday, 247 Sports logged a prediction that Harris would select the Tigers.
Listed at 6-1, 220lbs, Harris will bring solid size to the Missouri secondary with the option to be flexible if need be. Harris plays linebacker, safety and wide receiver at SLU High, but will likely join the Tigers as a linebacker, providing solid depth to an already talented linebacker core. Rivals ranked Harris at the 20th best linebacker in the Class of 2026.
Harris now joins fellow four-star quarterback Gavin Sidwar as the only two players committed to Mizzou in their 2026 high school recruiting class. The Tigers lost two recruits last week when defensive tackle Anthony Kennedy Jr and defensive back D'Montae Tims backed off their commitments to join the Tigers.
This is just the beginning for Missouri, as they have a string of key visits coming up that could bring even more talent to Columbia in 2026. We explored some of those visits in the card below.
