Class of 2024 Camden (NJ) Winslow Township wide receiver Jaylan Hornsby will officially visit Syracuse this weekend, starting Friday December 8th, he tells All Syracuse. Hornsby is currently committed to Texas A&M where new Orange defensive coordinator Elijah Robinson was his primary recruiter.
Hornsby is listed at 6-3, 204 pounds. He also holds offers from Duke, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Michigan, NC State, Notre Dame, Oregon, Penn State, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Wisconsin and others. Hornsby is rated a four star prospect by Rivals, and a three star by 247Sports, ESPN and On3.
The Winslow Township standout will not be the only four star prospect on campus this weekend. Four star wide receiver Emanuel Ross and four star edge KingJoseph Edwards will also take official visits.
Fran Brown has only been the coach at Syracuse for a matter of days and the effect of his recruiting prowess is already being felt with high profile, elite prospects taking a much more serious look at the Orange. And taking official visits with National Signing Day a little over two weeks away.
Coach Brown stated during his introductory press conference that he is not afraid to recruit against any coach in the country. He is putting his words into action with the ever growing visitor list for this weekend.
